Directions to the ground from the M1:
Step | Route |
1 | Leave the M1 at Junction 25. |
2 | At roundabout, take exit onto the A52 (signposted
Nottingham). |
3 | At next roundabout, take 4th exit onto Toton Lane (B6003)
(signposted Long Eaton, Toton). |
4 | At the next set of traffic lights (bottom of the hill) turn
left. |
5 | Drive past the Tesco store and follow the road around to the first
roundabout (opposite the Corn Mill pub). |
6 | At the roundabout, take 2nd exit to the next set of traffic
lights. |
7 | At traffic lights, turn left onto A6005. |
8 | Continue on A6005 a short way to next set of traffic lights (just past
the Blue Bell pub). |
9 | Turn right at traffic lights onto Attenborough Lane. |
10 | Continue to the end of Attenborough Lane (crossing the railway line and
follow the road around the right and then left bends). Attenborough Lane merges into The Strand and our cricket ground is on right
hand side. |
Directions from Nottingham:
Step | Route |
1 | Take the A6005 and follow signs for Derby and
M1. |
2 | Pick up local signs for Beeston and M1. |
3 | Drive through Beeston and follow local signs for Long Eaton and
M1. |
4 | After a short stretch of dual carriageway, you will pass Chilwell Olympia
Sports Centre on your left. |
5 | At the next set of traffic lights, turn left onto Attenborough
Lane. |
6 | Continue to the end of Attenborough Lane (crossing the railway line and
follow the road around the right and then left bends). Attenborough Lane merges into The Strand and our cricket ground is on right
hand side. |
For our 3rd XI ground at Long Lane in Attenborough, follow instructions as above until Attenborough Lane. Long Lane is the second turning on the left (just prior to the railway lines) as you proceed down Attenborough Lane. Continue down Long Lane for around 1/2m and the cricket ground is on the left opposite the gravel works. Parking is available on the road.
